Ridgley’s family would like to thank every one of you who has called, sent messages, visited in person, told stories, provided emotional support, delivered food and other items, and especially offered your prayers. We would like to extend a very special thanks to Shawn and Kellie Hooper for graciously donating the venue to honor Ridgley. He was an amazing man who had a boisterous laugh, a loving personality, and the biggest heart. He loved his family, friends and fellow Marines fiercely and he will be truly missed by them all. We are so very sad for the loss of Ridgley. “Day” He had a wonderful personality and his laugh was so contagious! He often spent a lot of time with us as a family and was a wonderful friend to our son! ( Marine brother) Mike. He was so polite and talkative from the moment we met. He fit in perfectly with all of us! It was like we all had know him since he was born. We had the pleasure of watching his car while he was in a school for Marine training. When he returned to NC he couldn’t drive it because of a broken ankle... He asked if I would drive it to the place he was staying.... I was happy to do this for him.... But when I started it up,to drive it out of the garage I couldn’t believe how loud it was.. I slowly went down the road of our neighborhood... I was laughing thinking . Wonder what the neighbors think of the lady driving that fancy hot rod!!!! Haha. He will be missed by all who knew him! Never forgotten . Rest easy Day! From you NC family! 💕 Love and prayers to Days family! Hope we all can meet someday....
