Jim was born on October 22, 1953, in Pecos, Texas. He was a longtime resident of McCamey and was a retired oilfield electrician.

Jim loved hanging out with his grandkids at the farm, lake, or anywhere. His friends were many and he cherished them all! Jim enjoyed cars and racing and was an avid collector of stuff.
Jim’s favorite place was at the lake where he enjoyed sitting on his deck with his loyal companion, his dog Chica.

Jim is survived by his children: Kristin and Gary Pearce of Wolfforth, Texas, and Marissa Chambers of Iraan, Texas; grandchildren, Cody Pearce and his wife Taylr Pearce, Logan Pearce, Mallory Brock, and Natalie Brock; great-grandchild Bristol Pearce, all of Wolfforth, Texas; brother, Frank Bradley and his wife Jana of Ozona, Texas; brother-in-law, Bruce Grady of McCamey, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jim was my brother in law, and although my sister Vikki preceeded him in death, I remained close with Jim. Prior to his moving to the lake at Balmorrhea, I remember his sitting in his recliner listening to the police scanner. He would sometimes cook food for anyone who wanted to eat. Jim's children, grandchildren, and great grand child always felt loved when around him. He was a also a friend to each one of them, sometimes taking one for a coke in his Geo Tracker, or meeting them at a restaurant for a meal. I think he was the most popular person I've ever known. Jim had so many friends from all over including McCamey, Rankin, Pecos, Balmorrhea, Box Canyon, and others. Jim will be greatly missed by me and many others.
